Room in 3 bdr townhouse (Shared Housing)

North/Central-ish Boulder, split-level townhome in a quiet, tucked away area, Willow Springs complex, off 28th and Iris. 3 minute walk to cafe's, restaurants and Safeway. Photos attached are from the original rental listing, and some more recent....

The room for rent is a basement level room with private bathroom, it's spacious and the window is large/you can see onto the back patio, so it doesn't feel so claustrophobic like basements usually do. Private bathroom with full tub.

The shared laundry room is a part of this space, so communication with roommates around access is what we've done, and it hasn't been an issue. It also has a sink and a mini fridge, so you can create a kitchenette situation for yourself down here, if you like. There is an infrared sauna that came with the house that the prior tenant used as a quasi-room divider, but you could figure out whatever works for you.

The lease will be month to month and the landlady requires a background check. Rent is $1073 + utilities, which average around $100-200 per person, depending on season.

The main level has the kitchen, living room with wood burning stove and dining room with sliding doors to a small, private garden/courtyard area. The two other roommates live upstairs. There is a garage for extra storage and space to park when it's snowing, and a very nice shared pool area with hot tub that is secluded and surrounded by trees and plantlife.

We are 2 Naropa grad students in our late 30's early 40's. We are friendly, share about our days and share food sometimes but mostly have our own rhythms and need quite/solitude/ study time as well.

We prioritize respect, heart-centered consideration, direct and open communication, and lots of grace for one another. We keep a clean space, keep the kitchen clean for one another and try our best to create a mutually supportive environment.
